Jerry Sandusky Trial's Victim 1 Gets Book Deal

We wish Victim #1 had no reason to write a book. We wish none of the victims were victims, and that Jerry Sandusky hasn’t abused them.
It’s an awful thing.
If Victim 1 can make some money by telling his story, though, it’s the least that he deserves after what he had gone though!
This book deal DOES mean, however, that he will be revealing his identity — and he will be doing so on the day of the book’s release in an interview with ABC’s Chris Cuomo. He’s 18 years old.
The book is called Silent No More: Victim-1’s Fight for Justice Against Jerry Sandusky, and will be co-written by the victim’s mother and psychologist (are they one in the same, or two different people?).
We’re told that the story:

“will share how he survived years of shame and secrecy, harassment and accusation, before reporting Sandusky’s actions to the authorities, and will offer a hopeful and inspiring message for victims of abuse.”

Financially, things haven’t been revealed, but the publishing house is going to be donating to victims of child abuse for sure.
Anything to help those out there who are still keeping their abuse secret and those who have to live their lives as victims in the public eye — we’re proud of Victim 1 for coming forward, and we’re proud of him for writing this book!
We hope it does well!
