Jerry Sandusky is being held in isolation in jail.
Mainly because if he were put in with the general population, he’d get a taste of his own medicine.
Medicine, in this case, being violent prison rape.
Yet he still has asked that he get taken out of solitary confinement.
His attorney said:
“He’s anxious to be able to move around. His exact quote to me: ‘I don’t think I’m suicidal. I’m dealing with this but if I have to sit around in this cell for a few more days, I am going to go nutty.'”
We still think it’d be safer to stay in isolation than to roam with the general population and risk getting shanked or having a hardened criminal start a “soap fight” with him in the shower.
Though maybe he does deserve a taste of his own medicine.
We’re pretty sure there’s no way they’ll let him out of isolation, but if they do, we’re sure we’ll have one heck of a story to write about soon after.
