This is something no parent ever wants to see.
Jesse James‘s teenage daughter Chandler was recently spotted at a party smoking what appears to be crystal meth off of aluminum foil.
The former reality star opened up about his daughter’s addiction, and says she’s been seeking treatment over the last few weeks:
“My daughter spent the month of April in a treatment facility getting help for addiction. She is out now and in recovery, actively participating in a 12-step AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) program.”
Chandler apparently had a bit of a reputation as a wild child in Austin, Texas, and was known to huff computer cleaner with her friends. But recently things started spiraling out of control when she began experimenting with more severe drugs.
Jesse has been clean for the past 13 years after battling his own demons and struggling with addiction, and he probably knows better than anyone what his daughter is going through.
It can’t be easy for a father to watch his child struggle with addiction, but the important thing is that Chandler is getting the help she needs to make a recovery.
