In fact, on International Women’s Day, Jessica helped fund one Instagram follower’s dream — even after engaging in a debate about abortion. After sharing a picture of herself wearing Dior‘s “We should all be feminists” tee, a fan called out the A-lister’s pro-choice belief.
Alongside the image (above), Jessica wrote:
“FEMINISM: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes #happyinternationalwomensday”
For some reason, this post didn’t settle well with follower Karin Schulz, whose bio on IG says that she “love[s] life.” In the comments section, Schulz noted:
“Yes feminist that believe in God and stand up for The Unborn. I would be for that kind of feminist.”
However, rather than block Karin or lash out at the pro-life fan, the 40-year-old chose to engage with her. She replied:
“Yes you can decide what is right for you. I am pro-choice and I believe that everyone has the right to make their own decision.”

Chastain further proved that she’s an ally to all women by acknowledging Schulz’s struggle with infertility, a topic which was mentioned in a GoFundMe page linked in the critic’s bio. Jessica added:
“My eyes filled with tears as I read this, dear Karin. I have such belief in your dream. Don’t give up my sister. It’s in your destiny.”
Shortly after this comment, the California native donated $2,000 to the GoFundMe page. This generous donation meant the world to Karin, who thanked Jessica “for [her] words, for [her] encouragement and loving wishes.” The fan concluded:
“We do agree on more than we disagree… it is ok if we don’t see eye to eye on everything.”
We’re not crying, YOU ARE!! Go girl power.
