Jessica Chastain is one heck of an actress, but she’s got some serious family drama!
Her biological father Michael Monasterio passed away recently, someone she never knew or ever wanted to know!
Here’s what a source had to say about it:
“Michael adored Jessica, but it broke his heart that she never mentioned his existence, for whatever reason,”
Obviously this is totally Jessica’s decision, and we just hope she’s at peace with herself.
We guess we understand how she’s such a great actress, she uses her hard knock life as a recipe for success in dark Oscar nominated films!
UPDATE: We’re hearing that some news outlets were reporting Jessica Chastain was asked to help fund her biological father’s funeral. Another daughter of the father, Michael Monesterio, Nicole Monesterio vehemently denies she asked Jessica for money to help with the funeral. Michael Monesterio was 56 years old when he passed away.
