Jessica Simpson gives good clapback!
The singer and fashion mogul recently posted an adorable pic with daughter Birdie on Instagram, and of course it brought out a troll or two, as is customary these days. Except we’re never truly convinced that celebs run their own social media or read their IG comments (it’s a mess out there in the comment section!), but apparently Jess does!

Or at least she read one obnoxious comment near the top and decided to respond! And what a response it was! If you look closely at the photo in question (above), you might see some type of shadow near Jessica’s boob, which one commenter took as proof of a nip slip. Clearly not one to miss an opportunity to post something stupid, the commenter wrote:
“#thefappening #nipslip”
Classy.
The Sweetest Sin (yes, that’s an old song reference) songstress was quick to respond, however, hilariously replying:
“I think it’s flattering that you think my nipple is that high up!”
HA!!! AH-Mazing! And she’s even poking a little fun at herself! The response is more than that guy deserved, tbh. See the epic exchange (below):
Fans loved Jessica’s wit and were quick to praise her AND some even acknowledged that nipples just aren’t necessarily the same after three kiddos!

Most fans are so sweet — it sucks some trolls have to be so gross. On the other hand, you could argue that when those asshole comments get such great responses from celebs that it’s kind of actually worth it!
Here’s our guess for how Birdie, Maxwell, and Ace’s momma must’ve looked after delivering that skewering sally!
As for what else Jessica is up to these days, the 38-year-old is planning on spilling the tea in an upcoming memoir, and even going into detail about her relationship with Nick Lachey! We’ll never, ever, ever forget when the two were on Newlyweds (it’s a freakin’ classic!), and it’ll be interesting to read all about those days, especially if Jess brings up that infamous “chicken of the sea” comment. Remember how Nick looked at her when she said that?
Her then-husband may not have found it funny, but it was truly A MOMENT.
