Pink is done with the parenting police, whether they’re attacking her or not!
In fact, the songstress came to the defense of one of her peers, Jessica Simpson, who was mommy-shamed this week for letting her seven-year-old daughter, Maxwell Drew, dye the ends of her hair purple!

On Thursday, Pink shared a photo of her own eight-year-old, Willow Sage, getting her hair colored, alongside a shot of the new blue ‘do! And in the caption of her Instagram post, she addressed the backlash, writing:
“I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven year old get her hair colored. So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday .”
It was in the 39-year-old’s hashtags where she really spoke her mind though:
“#bluehairdontcare #getyourownkids #parentpoliceareactuallyjustlonelysadpeople #illdyeyourhairtoolosers #ohlookmanocomments”
Yes, the So What singer did turn off the comments for this Instagram post to keep any trolls or “parent police” from airing out their negative opinions.
In case you missed it, Simpson received heat on Tuesday after posting an adorable pic of Maxi with the ends of her hair dyed purple. Inspired by Dove Cameron’s character, Mal, in the Disney Descendants franchise, the momma of three even expressed in her caption:

But some commenters still were not having it!
One Instagrammer posted:
“Isn’t she too young to have her hair dyed?”
While another two commented:
“So sad to see a child this young getting her hair dyed. She looked so much prettier with her natural golden locks. She still should be a child in every sense. That time is short.”
“If you are giving her everything she wants, you may be raising a lil monster.”
Thankfully, Jess had the support of many of her fans, with one expressing:
“It’s hair people!!! Geez! Everyone is a perenting [sp] expert all of a sudden from the post of a picture. Jessica, I think it’s beautiful! And yes. I’ve raised my kids. They both turned out just fine. You people find something better to do than troll celebs looking for fault. Write a book if you have all the answers.”
The official IG account for the Descendants even shared their support:
“Looking good! ???”
Although it was really Pink who went above and beyond!!
