Why, Jimmy Choo, why??
The high-end footwear label has just paired up with Ugg Australia to collaborate on a limited edition, five-piece collection, dubbed Ugg & Jimmy Choo.
The range will be founded on Ugg’s sheepskin boots, “with design details that embody the spirit of the Jimmy Choo brand,” whatever that means.
Available in October 2010, the line will retail for $595 to $795 at Jimmy Choo and Ugg Australia stores and e-commerce sites, as well as select department and specialty stores that already care Jimmy Choo.
Tamara Mellon, president and founder of Jimmy Choo, said that besides her own brand, “Ugg Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe.”
That’s fine, but why mix the two??
At least she doesn’t wear Crocs!!
