We love ourselves some Jimmy Fallon.
Besides his obvious humor and charm, he is way too cool to let the politics of late night hosting get to him!
Jimmy has supposedly been promised Jay Leno‘s seat for the Tonight Show, but he is in NO rush to replace Jay because he loves his current gig!
In regards to Late Night, Jimmy told GQ:
├óΓé¼┼ôOn Late Night, it├óΓé¼Γäós like we├óΓé¼Γäóre all in on the joke. That├óΓé¼Γäós what I wanted it to be. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not doing something sneaky. Inside jokes, I don├óΓé¼Γäót like those. We can all ride together, and everyone├óΓé¼Γäós on the same thing going, ├óΓé¼╦£Aha, I know where you├óΓé¼Γäóre going here.├óΓé¼Γäó And if we get weird, everyone knows, ├óΓé¼╦£Okay, we├óΓé¼Γäóll go for that little ride of being weird.├óΓé¼Γäó”
And how we adore those odd rides!!!
All jokes aside, the real reason the funny man isn’t lobbying to hustle it over to NBC is because he has no interest in creating any dramz similar to the Conan O’Brien and Jay feud.
Jimmy explained:
“I mean, in the nicest way, who really cares. In the nicest way. It would be great, sure, I guess. I’d love it, but it’s not on my mind. I’m in no rush to do anything. I’m kind of a boring character in that book. I’m not in a fight with Jay or Conan, or any of them. I don’t have that story.”
We care, Jimmy! We CARE!
However, we DO respect that you don’t want to be at the center of yet ANOTHER feud.
Their bickering did have its entertaining moments, but there is NO NEED to repeat history.
In this case we’re betting the nice guy will finish first!
