And it ain’t Conan! Sorry! That was our guess at first too.
After reviewing the numbers, it was deduced that ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live is the only late-night broadcast talk show to grow year-to-year with young adult viewers. Last week, JKL saw double-digit percent gains over the year-ago week in both adults 18-49 and total viewers. In fact, it was the only late-night show that saw a gain in viewership over the same week, last year numbers! Jay Leno? Carson Daly? David Letterman? They all took a dive!
There’s a new king of late-night kids … and he knows how to deliver!
Congrats Jimmy!
