WHAT CONFUNDUS CHARM IS THIS?!
It seems J.K. Rowling is keeping the spirit of Harry Potter alive and frolicking free among the trees in her expansive, Scottish backyard!
Apparently the Mother Muggle has been planning on building Hogwarts-inspired tree houses for her two young children, David (9) and Mackenzie (7), for quite some time, but Rowling only recently acquired building approval from the Edinburgh planning committee after grumblings from her neighbors held up construction.
Plans for the impressive tree houses (below) show each child will have their own tower, and the whole design will include a secret tunnel, a fire pole, a spiral staircase, and a slide! The playtime haven is rumored to cost around $250,000!!!
So we can totes come over and live play amongst the tree-top woodland creatures, too RIGHT?! Look, there’s even a Hedwig perched right in the middle!
And now when we die we know exactly where out spirit will dwell! Just call us Perez Peeves of the Hogwarts Trees! Ha!
