How courageous!
Joan Lunden has graced the October cover of People Magazine as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and she simply looks stunning.
The ex Good Morning America host was diagnosed with breast cancer back in June, and went on TODAY to give the world an update on her status, and, to officially be done with her wig.

When the 64-year-old first went public with her triple negative breast cancer, she spoke with Robin Roberts to gain some support.
“Robin told me waiting for your hair to fall out is excruciating. So I didn’t want to wait.”
And so she didn’t.
Joan chose to go bald as opposed to letting it happen naturally, and removed her wig for People to show other women that just because you lose your hair, that doesn’t make you any less feminine.
“I had to make this big decision about whether or not to do the cover with no hair. It certainly isn’t the comfortable way to go, but I decided I was going to try and help others and show women that this isn’t the end of the world, you can go on.”
While she probably cannot wait to overcome her diagnosis and grow her hair back, we have to say that Joan really does rock the look.
She’s just further proof that confidence is sexy, and confidence in the face of cancer is even sexier.
