Is anyone really surprised Joan Rivers said this about Lena Dunham?
We’re just more peeved than surprised that she would say such a thing!
The Fashion Police star did an interview with Howard Stern on his radio show and one thing led to another, Joan started making jabs about the Girls star’s weight – starting with questioning why Lena wears dresses above the knee.
Howard proceeded to defend the actress and Joan was quick to respond with:
“But that’s wrong. You’re sending a message out to people saying it’s OK, stay fat, get diabetes, everybody die. Lose your fingers.”
Yikes, that escalated very quickly!
We totally don’t think it’s fair to say Lena’s body confidence is purposely sending a message telling people not to care about their health.
