Congrats, Joaquin Phoenix!
On Monday, the actor made a very special announcement on The Late Show with David Letterman — he’s engaged!
It turns out the 40-year-old’s special lady is none other than his yoga instructor, a woman he fell in love with after they participated in some uhm, inneresting poses, like “harness the hog”!

Phoenix explained:
“First we do these breathing exercises and I go, ‘I can do this’├óΓé¼┬ªand then she says we are going to get in the first position — the “harnessing of the hog”. Before I can say, ‘Who is the hog?’ She grabs me — and it’s a compromising and vulnerable position ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and she gets a strap and puts it around me and she’s thrusting againgst me and I go, ‘Oh, no! My back pain!’ And she goes, ‘No, that’s your emotional back pain'”.
Ha! How could Joaquin not fall in love after “harnessing the hog”?!
Aww, we’re just so happy for the actor and his fianc├â┬⌐e!
