And we’re like, “eh.”
Jodi Foster and Mel Gibson’s new movie, The Beaver is out in theaters this Friday, so naturally, the two are doing a lot of press to promote the film. And by the two of them, we mean Jodi is doing all the promoting while Mel deals with his personal life that has been in utter shambles for the better part of the last two years.
Still, though he’s left her in the lurch on the promotional trail, Jodi has nothing by nice things to say about him. She insists that working with Mel on the movie was “amazing” and adds:
“I think it’s no secret that he’s really one of the most loved people in the business, professionally.”
Yeah, tell that to the cast of The Hangover II. They might disagree with you.
Save your breath, Jo. His time has come and gone and will only come again AFTER he’s settled things with the ex-lover. If he’s after redemption, he’ll have to wait a bit longer to get it.
