The D.A. threw out the case, so they are taking things to civil court.
Jodie Foster is being accused of attacking a young teenager at a mall last May when he tried to take a picture of her. Though she has denied the allegations, the boy’s family is convinced otherwise and is now suing the actress in civil court. The boy’s father explained to sources:
“We have retained an attorney to proceed with a civil suit against Jodie Foster for her assault since justice was not served by the DA’s office. We will proceed in civil court… our attorney is proceeding.”
He should proceed with caution. We’re sure Jodie has a much better legal team than you and going head to head with them might not be in your best interest.
Still, if it is justice you seek, here’s hoping you find it! (Our money is on Jodie being found innocent and the whole thing just becoming a huge waste of everyone’s time.)
