Guess we now know what he meant when he said that “coupling is a tricky thing!”
There’s been all sorts of speculation since John Mayer and Katy Perry split regarding what exactly tore these two apart, with some rumors circulating that the singer’s ex-husband, Russell Brand, somehow came between them, or even that the notorious womanizer was simply using her to promote recently-announced tour!
But according to sources extremely close to the pair, it was nothing but their respectively busy schedules that led to the demise of their love!
As insiders explain:
“John still very much loves her and has feelings for her. It was just going to be too much with what was on his plate.”
Hey! These things do happen!
It’s just a shame that if these feelings are still so strong, the pair couldn’t find a way to re-prioritize some of their commitments and focus on making the relationship work!
But who knows?!
They’ve been on-again/off-again before! Perhaps there’s still some hope left for ’em yet!
