John Mayer‘s new album Paradise Valley comes out today! And to promote its release, he wrapped a scarf around his head and headed down to The Late Show with David Letterman!

Johnny decided to show off his folksy side for the performance of his new single Wildfire, which is a totally toe-tapping tune! Along with his headscarf, he also wore some ripped jeans and a jacket with a peace sign stitched onto it.
Groovy!
Most of the members of his backup band went for the hippie look as well. Letterman even commented on one of the guitar player’s ponchos saying:
“I have a blanket just like that!”
Clothing aside, we are digging John’s new track! We can’t wait to hear the rest of his album, which features collaborations with Frank Ocean and his on-again girlfriend Katy Perry!
