John Mulaney just shared the sweetest detail about his wedding to Olivia Munn!
On Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian finally opened up about his July 2024 nuptials. The couple got married in a small ceremony at their friend’s home in New York, and kept the details on the down low at the time. But on Monday, John felt like spilling some tea!

He told the talk show host that his then-2-year-old son Malcolm totally stole the show during the “very simple ceremony” — mid-wedding too! He recalled:
“He went to the bathroom in his diaper during [the ceremony] and announced it mid-vows. A very sweaty little 2-year-old in a tuxedo just went, ‘I’m pooping!'”
LOLz!
Hey, everybody does it, right? That’s why people cry at weddings! LOLz!
After Jimmy laughed about the kiddo, now 3, not waiting until “before or after it happened,” the proud father teased:
“[That’s] really an in-the-moment kind of declaration.”
Hah! He also thanked his kiddo for being “nice and polite” and not pointing out that his parents were not “married yet” in the first two years of his life. So funny! The couple also share a 6-month-old daughter named Méi. She’ll have to wait for their vow renewal for her own poop story, we guess!
