Jon Cryer Talks The Possibility Of Becoming Friends With Charlie Sheen Again

Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen
There’s no doubt Charlie Sheen has burned a lot of bridges — and his former Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer is no exception.
However, it doesn’t seem like all hope is lost.
The 50-year-old actor appeared on the Howard Stern Show Tuesday, where he opened up about his complicated friendship with the troubled star.

Of Charlie’s infamous 2011 meltdown while their show was on air, Cryer said:

“He just went crazy out of nowhere.”

He also added that it was “blindsiding” when Sheen bashed the entire cast and crew after his firing. Sheen notoriously went as far as to call his longtime friend a “troll” — which Cryer found troubling considering they had a great working relationship until that point.
The Pretty In Pink star explained that Sheen did later apologize (kinda) by stating:

“I’m sorry for all the bullsh*t, man.”

To which Cryer noted:

“And I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£That’s it? There was a lot of bullsh*t. There was an enormous amount of bullsh*t!'”

But after all is said and done, J.C. says he doesn’t hold any “ill will” toward the 50-year-old, and he sympathizes with Sheen’s HIV positive status.
With that said, Sheen would have to clean up his act in order for them to be pals anytime soon:

“He’s got an addiction that’s just kicking his ass. I’d love to have him back in my life again. I’d love for him to be sober. But unfortunately, he’d have to be.”

Fair enough.
