Looks like production is finally going to begin on Jonah Hill’s film adaptation of 80s’ TV series 21 Jump Street!
Here’s what Jonah had to say about it:
“The ball’s very slowly rolling. We’re really excited.”
“We’re gonna shoot April 11 in New Orleans. I’m excited. I’ve never been to New Orleans before.”
More from Jonah on the film’s cast:
“It was really important to get the main two characters together, and then now we gotta fill out the rest of the cast.”
And Jonah on the prospect of a Johnny Depp cameo:
“Hopefully, he does it. It would be awesome if he did it. [to Johnny] Just do it, dude. Don’t be an a–hole. Just be in the movie.”
As we’ve mentioned before, it seems like Johnny’s on board, so hopefully they’ll make it happen.
