We were recently blessed with the relese of her newest single 11:11 (on 11/11, Ha!), learned about her upcoming acting gig on CSI and we were SO excited to EXCLUSIVELY chat with her about the truth in those engagement rumors!
Now, we bring you some more EXCLUSIVE news from Jordin about her upcoming album, how she loves acting, and her fresh new sound!!!!

On 11:11 being a glimpse of what’s to come:
“I recorded [11:11] last year and I was talking to Salaam [Remi], who produced it, and I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót it be fun to be able to put it out on 11/11?├óΓé¼Γäó I wanted to be able to put it out for my fans to hear. I just love giving them little glimpses and I definitely think that it is exactly that ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós a glimpse.
It├óΓé¼Γäós not going to be completely all that, because an album full of just [songs like] that would be pretty tiring! You├óΓé¼Γäód probably fall asleep! But it├óΓé¼Γäós been really fun to experiment with different sounds and it has been a while since I├óΓé¼Γäóve put out a record.”
On her different sound this time around:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóve grown up and I├óΓé¼Γäóm in love and I├óΓé¼Γäóm confident in my own skin! So there├óΓé¼Γäós a lot of things that I├óΓé¼Γäóve written about and songs that I├óΓé¼Γäóve found, that I really, really know it├óΓé¼Γäós going to be different for me. You know, it might not be as shocking for another artist, but for me ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ because of where I was with my last record ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós definitely a departure from that!”
On acting more:
“Opportunities with acting have been popping up and it├óΓé¼Γäós been something that I can├óΓé¼Γäót ignore ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I absolutely love it ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ so hopefully in the future, we├óΓé¼Γäóll get that music out! But for now, to be able to give people a taste of what├óΓé¼Γäós to come has been a lot of fun!”
