This is crazy!
Jose Canseco, 50, is a former major league baseball player, so it’s not like this latest injury will be affecting his baseball career.
However it still doesn’t sound like a lot of fun!

Jose’s fianc├â┬⌐e Leila Knight revealed that Jose accidentally shot off the middle finger off of his left hand in Las Vegas while cleaning his handgun at his home.
Apparently the accident happened because Jose did NOT know the gun was loaded.
After the injury, Jose was rushed to surgery where doctors are trying to save the middle finger which was blasted in the bottom part of the finger.
Although it’s bullet proof that Jose won’t have full use of this finger ever again, the doctors don’t want to have to amputate the finger, which is definitely a possibility at this point.

Hopefully modern science will be able to save that finger for you! Despite how awful and avoidable this accident sounds in the first place!
And never forget, folks, always treat a weapon as if it’s loaded. Assume that it is, at all times, no matter what.
