AH-Mazing!
We’re officially in love with Joss Whedon‘s latest muse.
Remember how he made that Buffy The Vampire Slayer napkin? Well, now The Avengers director has done it again!
Only this time, he’s drawn a picture depicting some of the cast of his cult TV show Firefly.
That’s right! The show famous for getting a premature cancellation on FOX after just 11 (stellar) episodes has come back to life via a pen-to-notepad drawing of Mal, River, and Wash; played by Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, and Alan Tudyk, respectively.
And not only do we get to see these awesome pictures, Joss is also hiding little inside jokes and easter eggs in them too!
For instance, SPOILER ALERT, in this one, Joss drew Wash saying, “I didn’t die!,” with a note, ‘a la Coulson.’ A solid reference to his newest TV show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Pretty soon the whole Whedonverse is going to be recreated in 2-D!
Joss, we’d like to personally ask for Dollhouse to be your next show to get the stick-figure treatment.
Five chalk Eliza Dushku drawings on a coffee filter will work just fine.
