The Columbian singer Juanes has made sure to calm fans’ worries about the rumor of a severe depression leading him to take a few years off from music and performing.
He claims that all he wanted was a month or two to spend some time with his family!
It looks like the rumor was started by his recently canned manager Fernan Martinez. Boo!
Here’s what Juanes had to say:
“Now more than ever it is clear that my life is and will be about music forever, together with my family. There is nothing that makes me happier than playing the guitar and singing for my fans on stage. It’s a blessing and what has always saved me.”
That’s good news! We’re definitely glad to hear the opposite of what your ex-manager had to say. Shame on him for saying any of that, because depression is not something to mess around with!
