If you can’t trust your family, then who CAN you trust?!?
Poor Jude Law learned that not even his relatives can be trusted when it comes to keeping his private life private!
It was way back in 2005 when The News of the World revealed that Jude’s then girlfriend, Sienna Miller, was cheating on him with Daniel Craig! The paper claimed it was an inside source who leaked the dirty deets.
But who?
The now defunct News of the World and many of its former editors and managers are currently standing trial in a phone-hacking hearing. Jude took the stand yesterday to answer questions about his own injustice with the paper.
But he soon learned it was in fact a family member who was paid to dish out the dirt about Jude, Sienna and Daniel!
Court testimony shows just how this devastating news was to Jude! Jurist Timothy Langdale asked Jude:
“[Did you know] about an immediate member of your family providing information to the News of the World and getting paid for that?”
Jude replied:
“I’ve never been aware of that; of anyone getting paid for that.├óΓé¼┬¥
Langdale then told the court that he did not intend to publicly name the family member and instead wrote the name of the person down on a piece of paper and handed it to Law.
Law looked at the paper and did not move! Jude was asked again if he knew that this person was selling stories to the paper. Jude answered:
“I was made aware very recently there had been some kind of communication with this person and several others in and around the time, this period. I was never aware any money changed hands.├óΓé¼┬¥
Ooof. That’s gotta hurt like a straight shot to the gut!
Jude also confirmed that he did indeed call Craig after learning about his and Sienna’s affair, which was what the paper had printed at the time.
He then told the court about private phone calls that police had played for him after he was approached by officials to inform him he had been hacked!
Jude explained:
“I heard my voice several times, it was day-to-day arrangements ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ where to pick up the children and where to drop the children off.├óΓé¼┬¥
This is BEYOND cray! Talk about an invasion of privacy! How friggin’ scary is this?!
The trial continues but we’d like the hear how the defense is going to avoid anything other than a guilty verdict!
