We guess that she did NOT take too kindly to that nasty little rumor!
Reports began circulating today that Dexter stars Michael C. Hall and his wife of two years, Jennifer Carpenter, split because the actor had gotten involved with series guest star Julia Stiles during production, but the actress has already released a statement this afternoon denying those claims!
It reads:
“I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer. We are good friends and enjoyed working together. This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy. Although I too prefer to keep my private life, private ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter.”
Well, we think that says it all!
Although we can understand why some would make that assumption, given the nature of their characters’ relationship, we really doubt that this rumor is true!
Such an unfortunate situation, all around!
