Julianne Hough Reacts To Estranged Husband Brooks Laich's Breakup Mohawk!

julianne hough comments on brooks laich's haircut photo

Julianne Hough seemingly has no hard feels after her estranged husband Brooks Laich debuted some fresh changes after their split!

The former NHL player has been open about his new “adventure” since their separation, even talking about wanting to start a family. And late last week, he further prepared for this clean start by getting his hair buzzed into a mohawk while in Idaho. Brooks received quite the response upon sharing pics on Instagram, including a comment from his ex!

“Viking Status”

It appears the exes are committed to staying friends despite their recent separation or at least staying updated on what’s going on in each other’s lives, haircuts included!

Ch-ch-check out the fresh look for yourself (below):

As you’ll recall, the couple’s separation came at the end of last month after almost three years of marriage, though it wasn’t all that surprising. Via a joint statement to People, the pair broke the news:

“We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate. We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward.”

This came after MONTHS of speculation about their relationship, which was already confusing enough at times, but once they decided to quarantine in separate homes (not to mention separate states), we saw the writing on the wall!

It’s unclear what exactly the future holds for these two, but as we touched on (above), one thing is for sure: Laich wants to be a father! While speaking with co-host Gavin DeGraw during a recent episode of their podcast How Men Think, he revealed his desire to be a daddy:

“It’s important to me. I hope to be a father one day. I hope to have the world be a better place for them… one day.”

It’s not the first time he’s spoken about fatherhood either! During an October 2019 episode of the show, he shared his parental wishes:

“I didn’t think I could do that in my 20s while I was devoting all this time to hockey, which is what … full transparency, selfishly I fully wanted to do. I needed to do that for myself. So now that I’m 36, I feel I do have the space in my life.”

We can’t say for sure, but maybe the two weren’t on the same page when it came to raising a family? He added at the time:

“I’m now not an athlete, I’m not playing hockey. So what does life look like now? There’s still a figuring-out process of a new identity for myself. Also with my wife, our relationship — it’s a new identity for our relationship as well.”

Do U think they’ll stay friendly, Perezcious readers?? Or will that fizzle out, too? Let us know (below) in the comments!
