Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg, 75, has been hospitalized at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for pancreatic cancer detected in its earlier stage.
The cancer was discovered during a routine checkup when a CT scan revealed a tumor about half an inch wide located on the pancreas.
Ginsburg will be in the hospital for the next 7 to 10 days.
We know from Patrick Swayze’s battle with the disease that pancreatic cancer is particularly awful, so we wish Ginsburg the strength and spirit to hopefully get through this!
