What do the Menendez brothers’ family and Justin Baldoni have in common? They now have the same lawyer!
According to The US Sun on Monday, the actor retained attorney Bryan Freedman to help fight the lawsuit his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively filed against him. She accused the Jane the Virgin alum of sexual harassment and attempted to start a smear campaign against her to ruin her reputation. Justin denied the allegations through Freedman, saying:
“These claims are completely false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media.”

Hmm. Based on the receipts Blake included in her suit, Freedman may need a miracle to get Justin out of this one…
And that is not the only high-profile case he’s working on! Per the outlet, the lawyer has been working with Erik and Lyle Menendez’s family as the brothers fight for their freedom. The pair have been behind bars for decades after being sentenced in 1996 to life in prison for the murder of their parents, Jose and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez. However, there’s a chance Erik and Lyle will go free soon if the new Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman decides to move forward with resentencing them — or potentially just one of them.
