Justin Bieber wasn’t even present when Billie Joe Armstrong blasted him at iHeart Radio Fest on Friday.
So why him?? Why’d he target the Biebs???
Well WE think it’s cuz he’s Usher‘s prot├â┬⌐g├â┬⌐!!
You see… Green Day had to shorten their time on stage because Usher was given more time to perform.
Furious with feelings of disrespect, the frontman went off about his band’s tenure in the industry. Basically saying they deserved more than the treatment they were given (true), he then said:
“I’M NOT F***ING JUSTIN BIEBER, YOU MOTHERF***ERS!!”
And that’s when the guitar smashing began. But everyone was wondering, why pick on Justin??
Well… since Justin is Usher’s musical baby boom, Billie might have equated that with the contentment of bending over backwards for the hip hopper.
But obviously that wasn’t the case for Green Day! Billie Joe was PISSED beyond belief and even subsequently checked himself into rehab.
Meanwhile, Usher and Justin’s manager seemed totally unfazed by all of it. One source even says:
“Scooter [Braun] was standing right off to the side of the stage when Green Day was performing and he saw the whole thing. He didn├óΓé¼Γäót care at all. Justin isn├óΓé¼Γäót upset, no one is mad.”
Well.. no one except BJA!
And we gotta admit, as crazy as his rant was, he had a point.
It totally sucked for the legendary band… but the show must go on!! And speaking of…
