Justin Bieber Is Going To Space, According To Virgin Founder Richard Branson!

Conquering Earth just isn’t enough for this kid. He’s planning a space takeover.
Justin Bieber and his agent Scooter Braun have reportedly signed up for a suborbital flight in space! The news comes from Virgin’s founder, Richard Branson, who tweeted the following:

Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!

While the star has yet to confirm the news, he has, however, retweeted Richard’s mention.
The trip on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo rocket plane would take the Biebs over 62 miles in altitude, during which he and the fellow passengers would enjoy a quick glance of the Earth in orbit before heading back.
According to the SETI Institute├óΓé¼Γäós Seth Shostak, Justin├óΓé¼Γäós trip could be a very good idea in garnering needed attention and funds — just think of the marketing and PR campaigns! He said:

“My suggestion is, be sure to send Justin Bieber on one of these flights early on. If there’s more interest, there are more customers. If there are more customers, there’s more technical development. It’s a positive feedback loop, and obviously that’s good.”

Costing upwards of $200,000 to $250,000, the ride seems to be in JB’s price range, as well as other celebs who have signed up; this list includes Ashton Kutcher, Sarah Brightman, and Victoria Principal. Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie have allegedly booked their ride as well.
