In her recent cover feature for Elle, Sel explained how she’s focused on herself and keeping her life as simple as possible.

The Back To You singer told the publication that these days she spends her time interning at anti-human-trafficking nonprofit A21, and revealed that she’s “not on the internet.” Gomez says she only posts on Instagram from a friend’s phone.
An source told Us that the 26-year-old’s also been keeping her circle small, “hanging out with her close group of girl and guy friends” and “not actively dating.”
This is a stark comparison to Hailey, who seems to be a better fit for Bieb’s active lifestyle:
“Hailey likes to go out, go to clubs, hang in the studio. Selena is not that same person.”
The insider continues:
“Justin’s lifestyle didn’t match well with Selena’s. Selena is more focused on improving herself every day.”
And after dating on and off for so many years, one thing is clear:
“They learned a lot from their relationship.”
Looks like things turned out for the best for these former lovers in the end! Even though the news of her ex’s engagement was “a tough pill to swallow” for Gomez, “it wasn’t enough to break her.”
