There have been a lot of rumors swirling around about King Kevi lately.
From allegedly hooking up with Selena Gomez behind Justin Bieber‘s back to reportedly then staging photos that would make it appear as if — no rumor about it — he was INDEED hanging with Selenita, it’s been nuts for the King of Kev! LOLz!
But according to Bieber’s friend himself, all of the accusations are being reported because he wouldn’t hand over a party non-disclosure agreement to interested outlets.
Basically, he thinks news sources are trying to blackmail him. He says one in particular paid off Selena’s security to obtain that surveillance video and spin it in a negative light because they have been trying to pay him for the party NDAs — the ones he refused to give.
But here’s what REALLY happened in that security footage… according to him.
Kevi said he was driving through the area and had to drop off some money that he owed a friend, who was at Selena’s house that night for a party. His friend wasn’t answering his phone, so he figured he’d just stop by.
That’s when the paparazzi started chasing him down and taking pics, while he was waiting for his friend to return his call. He then missed the friend’s call, called him back and the friend said to bring his car to the gate (which is shown in the photos swirling around the internet — the same ones being reported as those he allegedly staged himself).
When asked if Justin talked to him about it, he said Justin hasn’t even been reading the stories and wouldn’t even get mad. Kevi said he wouldn’t hang out with her like that anyways, they just have mutual friends.
Since he claims he’s getting death threats from Beliebers, he wants to release his own statement via PerezHilton.com to clear the matter up:
“The reports about me staging the Selena Gomez incident are false, I simply stopped by to drop off some money to a friend who was at the party and a photographer was intruding my space on multiple occasions so I chased him off. I don’t even know Selena like that we’ve met maybe a few times through mutual friends and I wouldn’t do that to Justin. Some media outlets are trying to make me look bad in the press and editing the security footage in a way to get some secret information and documents that I have, but I wouldn’t give out that information to them.”
Wow… this stuff is craaaaaazy!
We know Selena’s wanted by practically all, but his friends — as reckless as they may appear with the ragers — definitely seem to be loyal in the old-fashioned way. Ha!
