There’s a line and this is crossing it. They’re still kids! Boo!
You probably all know the work of Daniel Edwards by now. He’s the guy who created the nude sculpture of Paris Hilton playing with her dog and the other nude sculpture of Britney Spears giving birth. His latest work is titled “Justin and Selena as One,” a bronze piece in which a nude Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are literally joined at the hip. As if to make it somewhat more acceptable, their privates are covered – Justin’s by a maple leaf and Selena’s with a Lone Star. Even still, we’re appalled.
It’s really just unnecessary. There’s art and then there’s just plain shamelessness. He’s only 17! And she’s barely legal! How could anyone think that this is okay???
We guess the real problem we have with this is not just the art itself, but where he plans on displaying it. He isn’t going to an art gallery or someplace with some decency. No, this piece will travel along West Northwest Highway in Dallas and make a pit stop at every major adult content store on the stretch.
