Looks like Justin Bieber has come in SECOND place!!
The band fun. has beat the Biebs out for the top spot this week on the Hot 100 with their song We Are Young!!
For the fifth week in a row, fun.├óΓé¼Γäós song, featuring Janelle Monae, has been number one…but this doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean Justin├óΓé¼Γäós Boyfriend didn├óΓé¼Γäót debut HUGE!
The song sold 521,000 downloads in its first week and has become Bieber’s HIGHEST Hot 100 placement ever! Justin’s smash hit Baby debuted at number five back in 2010 and Never Say Never debuted at number eight.
It seems though, that Justin’s Boyfriend being released ONLY exclusively to iTunes hurt him in the long run…Young was made available at ALL digital retailers and ended up scoring more streaming points, which helped boost them up to the top spot!
Somehow, somewhere we are imagining millions of Beliebers singing, “first is the worst, second is the best!” Ha!
