Justin Hartley & Chrishell Stause Sources Say The Former Couple 'Never' Cheated On Each Other

Ever since fans learned of Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause‘s sudden divorce filing, there’s been one prevailing theory about the demise of their marriage: somebody cheated!

While some speculative evidence suggested the This Is Us actor might’ve secretly stepped out on his estranged wife with his co-star, sources close to the couple have just come forward to insist that any rumors of Hartley’s infidelity are “100 percent false.” Oh, what great timing…

As one insider explained to E! News:

“Cheating was never in the cards and never happened on either side.”

OK. So, why did Justin suddenly end things with the Selling Sunset star in November after two years of marriage, anyway? Well, a second source says Chrishell still isn’t even quite sure where things went south with her former spouse:

“Chrishell knew they were having problems in their marriage. They were fighting for months before Justin filed, but she didn’t think he would actually end their marriage. They always brushed their problems under the rug.”

Oh no. Ignoring the problem doesn’t solve anything, and that same insider noted it’s why 39-year-old Stause is unable to find closure from the breakup:

“She speculates a lot about what truly happened between them.”

How quickly Hartley moved on with his former Young and the Restless co-star Sofia Pernas doesn’t exactly help the healing process, either! But the confidant explained the concept of cheating is definitely not a factor:

“Chrishell is heartbroken that he has moved on so quickly. It doesn’t do her any good to dwell on the possibilities of Justin cheating, and is trying to move on.”

It’s quite an interesting take that shines a favorable light on Justin and makes Chrishell look like less of a bitter ex. However, it’s far from what we’ve seen play out between the two over the last few days.

As fans saw on a season 3 of her hit Netflix show, the California real estate agent tearfully shared how blindsided she was when her husband pulled the plug on their marriage — especially through something as flippant as a text message, no less! The 43-year-old actor responded in kind by reportedly telling friends how “irritated” he was by her verbal account of what happened between them.

Things got even more contentious when Chrishell liked tweets which alleged Justin cheated on her with his now-girlfriend Pernas months before their split. In addition to a report from Blind Gossip about a male TV star who fell in love with another woman then filed for a shockingly quick divorce out of nowhere, she double-tapped on this explosive fan theory:

“@justinhartley filmed a movie in Canada at the same time his new gf @SofiaPernas was filming the summer before they split. The timing seems like he probably cheated on @Chrishell7 and took a coward’s way out to avoid spousal support and gaslight her.”
