All appears to be going OK right now between Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, at least if joint public appearances are to be believed!
The 39-year-old Social Network star faced major scrutiny late last year for getting handsy with film co-star Alisha Wainwright while relaxing at a New Orleans bar after a long day of filming for the upcoming Palmer. But now, it appears that drama is firmly in the rearview mirror, as Biel has steadfastly remained by her husband’s side.

On Monday night, the pair made their first official public appearance together (pics HERE) since the November brouhaha, attending the season 3 premiere of the aptly-named show The Sinner in Los Angeles. They were all smiles as they walked the red carpet and posed for pics before the show, so things appear to be going fairly well on the home front — at least, you know, publicly.
As you may recall, though, behind the scenes is decidedly more of a mixed bag for this couple, as they’ve reportedly gone through a series of sessions with a couples therapist to try to mend their relationship. They also took time to lay low and reconnect on their own, as well, far away from the spotlight and media scrutiny that is otherwise sure to follow.
That night in November…
Of course, all this goes back to that fateful November 2019 night, when the Man of the Woods singer went a little too far in a Big Easy bar on Bourbon Street. Paparazzi pics caught him holding hands with the unmarried Wainwright, and all hell broke loose.
After a few weeks of radio silence from the celeb couple as controversy continued to flurry around them, you’ll probably recall JT coming out with a major public apology for the incident.
He wrote in part (below):
“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people that I love. A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar” the star continued. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”
A “strong lapse in judgment,” indeed.
But now, at least on the outside looking in, it appears like things are slowly but surely returning to normal.
