No need to worry about Kaitlynn Carter!
On Thursday, The Hills: New Beginnings cast member Whitney Port gave an interview to Cosmo where she dished about her friend’s breakup from Brody Jenner.

When the publication asked how The City star has helped her pal through the split, Port surprisingly responded:
“Just like anybody else’s friend, you just want them to be happy. I mean, I haven’t needed to support her. She doesn’t need my support. She’s in a really good place.”
However, when asked how the former couple’s split will affect season two of the hit MTV sequel series, the 34-year-old remarked:
“That’s a good question. I have no idea what the producers are thinking. I mean, I’m sure they’re going to want to dive into what their lives look like now. But since everything happened off camera, I don’t know exactly how they’re going to cover that.”
Earlier this month, TMZ reported the pair called it quits and were never actually married despite having a ceremony on the island of Nihi Sumba in June 2018.
Per sources, the selfé skincare founder wanted a baby and a legal marriage — two things Caitlyn Jenner‘s son reportedly refused to give her.
Of course, it appears the duo have moved on. While Kaitlynn has been spotted with Liam Hemsworth‘s ex, Miley Cyrus, Brody has been seen with Josie Canseco.
A few weeks ago, amid reports stating Jenner “hated his life with” Carter, The Princes of Malibu alum posted a lengthy message on Instagram setting the record straight.
In his statement, the Bromance alum said he and his ex “grew in different directions,” but continue to be “best friends.” Additionally, “she deserves to be able to move forward in her life with respect and happiness.”
He penned:
“There is far too much negativity being directed at someone who I love and care about very much. I feel the need to set the story straight. Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for 6 years, and we will continue to be. We, like many others before us and many after us, grew in different directions over those same 6 years. Kaitlynn is a wonderful person, beautiful and fun to be with, always a positive force in my life. We decided the best move for both of us was to keep our love for each other strong but move forward separately with our lives. I respect Kaitlynn and care deeply about her. She deserves to be able to move forward in her life with respect and happiness.”
In response, the 30-year-old wrote in the comments section:
Days later, Miley and Kaitlynn sent Brody some WEED for his 36th birthday!
