Adidas Says HELL NO We Aren't Dropping Kanye! ...Probably...

Kanye West has always been controversial, but he’s reaching such lows with his outrageous statements, it may soon affect his business ties.
After his slavery comments, a new petition popped up on Care2 urging Adidas, which produces Yeezy brand footwear, to drop Yeezy himself.

After being pressed on the matter Thursday, CEO Kasper Rorsted defended Kanye’s place with the company even though “there clearly are some comments we don’t support”. He told Bloomberg TV:

“Kanye and the Yeezy is a very important part of our brand, from a revenue standpoint less so, but it’s a very important part of how we promote our products, particularly in the U.S. and other parts of the world.”

Rorsted says the German company has not even discussed dropping Kanye… not yet anyway:

“I saw the comment as you’ve seen it. I haven’t had any conversation with Kanye… it’s very clear to us that we’re a sports company, we want to change people’s lives through sport, which is a very important part, so of course we will have conversations.”

Do YOU think Adidas should drop Kanye out of principle? Or even just to protect their brand?
