We’re sorry if you were drinking anything when you read the headline, because you definitely spat it out all over your laptop screen!
We reported earlier how Kanye West made some possibly anti-Semitic remarks when he said that “black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people,” which earned him a response from the Anti-Defamation league that called for him to apologize!
Kanye finally responded to all this controversy on the Chicago radio station B96 with a remark that could only come from the mouth of Yeezy:
“I don├óΓé¼Γäót know how being told that you have money is like an insult. That would be like if somebody complimented black guys and said, ├óΓé¼╦£All black guys have big penises.├óΓé¼Γäó You don├óΓé¼Γäót want to be the black guy who raises his hand and says like, ├óΓé¼╦£That├óΓé¼Γäós not true. I have proof!├óΓé¼Γäó”
Oh Yeezus, that’s just wrong dong!
He also mentioned that his comment was an “ignorant compliment,” but overall we think his response is a little cocky (pun extremely intended).
We’re not sure if he gets the point that perpetuating any stereotype is not really, how do we put this, kosher.
What he said WAS offensive, but we do like the big, hard images that we have in our head thanks to his response.
