Riccardo Tisci, Yeezy’s BFF (and rumored lovah!), has recently announced that he’s partnering up with Nike for an upcoming collection that will include a “special sneaker” and possibly clothing as well.
He said:
├óΓé¼┼ôFor me, Nike represents a lot: my childhood, America. When I got the call, it sounded so strong, so perfect for my DNA. It├óΓé¼Γäós a big honor for me, especially because they├óΓé¼Γäóre always working with sports people. I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót bring them technology, instead I brought my style, what people like me for and what the young generation follows me for.”
He further described the collection as ├óΓé¼┼ôstrong without being loud.”

We’re sure the collection will be good since Riccardo has been on fire lately with his collections for Givenchy, but surely he must be getting some blowback from Kanye about this decision?
After all, Kanye just recently had a major falling out with Nike, and ditched them for a new partnership with Adidas!
Knowing how passionate Yeezy can get about fashion, we can’t help but think he’s going to be super annoyed with Riccardo’s move.
We hope their friendship can weather this fashion storm!
