Kanye West‘s father Ray has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to a new report out in TMZ.
Yeezy’s father is apparently being treated in Los Angeles right now for prostate cancer — and not stomach cancer, as had been previously reported by some.

Upon first hearing the news, we’re told Kanye went immediately to be by his dad’s side.
Sources say that Ray is “responding well” to treatment, and that even though it’s early in the process right now, there is apparently a good chance he’ll pull through it.
That would be HUGE for Yeezy and his family — we know how seriously the rapper was affected by the death of his mother a decade ago.
Here’s hoping that Kanye and Ray get the physical, mental, and emotional help they need as they go through something as serious as this.
So, so scary — but hopefully they’ve caught things early enough!
