Don’t think Kanye West is joking around for one second!!
John Legend went on the Dan Wootton Interview podcast this week, and cut to the chase about West’s presidential aspirations: they’re very much real, and Kanye is extremely serious.

Speaking on the podcast, Legend shed a little light on the (real) political aspirations of his friend (below), noting Kanye has mentioned running as an Independent party candidate “multiple times” to John:
“I think he’s serious. I guess he’d run as an independent, but he’s never told me anything about what party … I think he sees some aspects of himself in Trump and sees that Trump winning makes it feel like he could do it too.”
Makes sense. Narcissists love other narcissists!!!
But seriously… could Kanye really think he’s got a chance to be President?
With Trump winning in 2016, though, what if Kanye actually won??
