Kanye West May Have To Fight Tooth & Nail For The Yeezy Brand Name -- Here's Why...

Bad news for Kanye West.
According to recent reports, the Famous rapper may be headed to court over the rights to the Yeezy brand name. Apparently, in new legal documents, a Chinese company has laid its claim for Yeezus’s most notable nickname. Who? What? How??

Okay, so here’s what happened…
TMZ says that Kanye’s business has owned the name Yeezy for footwear since 2013. However, for some reason, the brand dropped the trademark for other clothing items in 2017. Seeing what a major opportunity this was, Fujian Baby Network Technology Co. moved quickly to file trademark paperwork for the term “Yeezy Boost” for their own clothing products.
FBNTC certainly outmaneuvered West’s team, as when the hitmaker’s business tried to refile for the name, they were shut down by the trademark office. In fact, the Chinese company now has dibs on the Yeezy name. Yikes.
While this situation will NOT affect Kanye’s Yeezy footwear, it may pose a threat towards additional clothing items ‘Ye may design. So, we’re definitely curious to see what happens next!!
One thing’s for certain, Kanye must be SO PISSED right now! Man, oh man.
