Kanye West Gets Emotional While (Sort Of) Apologizing For His Slavery 'Sounds Like A Choice' Comment -- Watch

Kanye West

Say what you will about Kanye West, but he sure isn’t afraid to wear his emotions on his sleeve.
And while he’s ruffled some feathers of late — as here, with some recent controversial comments about slavery sounding “like a choice” for 400 years — at least he’s (kind of?) owning up to it now.

Yeezy went on the 107.5 WGCI Morning Show in Chicago a few hours ago, and during a longer interview with the show’s hosts, he dove into the topic of his recent comments — and his habit of wearing that damned ‘Make America Great Again’ hat from Donald Trump.
As you can see in the short clip from the show’s webcast (below), Yeezy was certainly emotional in his apology about not only the comment, but the “one-two” he calls the controversy and his MAGA hat coming up right in succession.
Beyond that, though, he really just talked again about the spirits of Harriet Tubman and Nat Turner, and gave his “non-historical opinion” quite a bit, which made for sort of a weird, non-apology type of apology.
He also dropped in a remark about how he was sorry for how the slavery comment “made people feel,” rather than just owning it and being sorry for making the comment in the first place… but we digress.

Besides the clip (above), you can see a little bit more new video from Yeezy’s radio appearance this morning HERE.
Thoughts, Perezcious readers?!
