Sources tell TMZ that Y├â┬⌐ flew out of L.A. on Wednesday for the home he’s rented on a literal mountaintop in Wyoming. The Y├â┬⌐ vs. The People rapper has spent some time there over the past few months, flying in artists and producers to help record his music.

Kanye will stay in the wilderness for at least several weeks, the source added, and will continue to fly in collaborators to help him with the final touches on his upcoming records.
As for the artist’s heated TMZ Live interview — where he “appalled” staffers (and, subsequently, the internet) with his musings on slavery sounding like “a choice” — the source said Kanye thought the episode was “fire” because it got people thinking.
It’s true, people are thinking — thinking about why the hell they should continue to support Mr. West after he turned his back on the community he spoke to in his early work.

We’ll find out soon enough: the first album is due out May 25, and four more will follow. Until then, ch-ch-check out some clips of Kanye hard at work with his design team (below).
