Karl Lagerfeld loves himself a good, crisp high collar, so it should come as no surprise that he created one that could double as a necklace.
Karl crafted the fancy neckwear out of metallic leather and includes 40 carats of black diamonds and a massive 22.33 carat emerald as the centerpiece.
The cost? A mere $45,000!!!
Lagerfeld said of his magnum opus:
“I’m renowned for my love of a high collar and I wanted to create a true collector’s item with this one-off piece. Merging the masculine with the feminine and uniting the world of fine jewelry and high fashion, to me this collar is a work of art and a real show-stopper.”
Indeed it is Karl. Indeed it is.
