Karl Lagerfeld sure is getting grumpy in his old age!
During a press conference on Friday the designer took a moment to slam Newsweek editor Tina Brown after reporter asked what he thought about Robin Givhan calling him “overrated” in the February 6th issue.
Unkle Karl said:
“First of all, Tina Brown├óΓé¼Γäós magazine is not doing well at all. She is dying. I├óΓé¼Γäóm sorry for Tina Brown, who was such a success at Vanity Fair, to go down with a shitty little paper like this. I├óΓé¼Γäóm sorry.”
Harsh!
Tina was quick to respond to Karl’s quip, tweeting:
“The Kaiser doth protest too much! “Diet issue”? Newsweek ads up 27% for Q1″
For some reason we have a feeling this squabble is far from over.
