Kate Beckinsale is in the middle of a massive nasty dispute with a trauma “healer!”
A man named Nick Abramovic of the Bionic Method claimed she skipped out on a nearly $3,000 bill for her sessions. However, she alleged the only reason she is not paying him is because he sexually assaulted her during one of her appointments. Whoa. Buckle up for this one, Perezcious readers. We have a lot to cover here…
According to Page Six on Friday, her assistant contacted Abramovic in August to schedule three sessions that would take place over a two-week period for a total of $2,700. The appointments involved an “intense” and “emotional” massage like the ones done during Reiki therapy, where a healer uses psychosomatic practices to alleviate pain in the body. During all sessions, the outlet reported clients remain “completely clothed.” Abramovic further insisted:
“No one is getting naked, no one is getting undressed, there’s no oils. I will touch people in non-invasive points; it’s all external. I’m not rubbing my hands up and down. It is very much a stretch therapy, sound therapy and breath-work. It’s very above board.”

Hmm. Abramovic said that when Kate attended her first appointment on August 2, he offered to record the session — something other clients enjoy looking back on their experience later. However, the actress turned it down due to privacy reasons. That means the only people in the room were her and Abramovic. No camera. Nothing. However, Kate claims the healer lied. Her attorney, Marty Singer, insisted to Page Six that Abramovic “did not ever offer to record the session,” saying his “statement is not truthful.”
Following the first session, Abramovic thought Kate was happy with his services. A text obtained by the outlet showed her assistant sent a message two days later, noting the Underworld star “really enjoyed the session.” Abramovic also alleged Kate said to him:
“‘You’re like Harry Potter. I would really like to promote you on my Instagram. I think we could do a party at my house instead of me having to come here and you could meet all my friends.’”
He noted he did not know that meant she was “expecting free s**t” in return for her recommendations as she never paid the bill for his services. On August 7, Kate had her second session with Abramovic. The following day, the outlet reported an alleged text sent by the assistant showing the booking of a final appointment.
However, sources close to Kate claimed the picture painted by Abramovic is inaccurate. They insisted she never went to the last session because he allegedly committed sexual assault and battery during the second appointment. OMG. What’s more, the incident is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department! A spokesperson for Kate said:
“‘Somatic trauma therapist’ Nick Abramovic is well aware as to why his bill has not been paid. He knows this because he received a letter from Kate Beckinsale’s lawyer Marty Singer. Kate is not able to discuss the matter because it is being investigated by the LAPD.”
The LAPD confirmed to the outlet they are in the early stages of the investigation of the alleged incident, and no charges have been filed at this time. A public information officer added:
“We’re interested in hearing from all parties and welcome anyone who feels that they’ve been the victim of any sexual assault to let us know so that we can look into it.”
Whoa…
For his part, Abramovic denied ever inappropriately touching Kate. He fired back:
“I just want to be clear: I did not assault her at all. I categorically deny these allegations. In the five years since I’ve run Bionic, I have never had this type of complaint from any individual that I have treated. Over the years, I have treated hundreds of women without incident.”
The healer claimed her attorney only sent a legal notice about the criminal allegations after he slammed Kate for not paying her bill on social media. He also noted the police have not contacted him, his employees, or his clients.
That said, as we mentioned, an investigation is ongoing. His own lawyer, George Shohet, also mentioned that they are “looking into a defamation case as this appears to be a retaliatory act after Mr. Abramovic demanded payment from Ms. Beckinsale.” Yikes! But Kate’s attorney swore that she did not file a police report to avoid paying for her treatment:
“The belief that my client would file a false police report and wind up having to pay more money for my legal services than pay this person is the most ridiculous concept I’ve ever heard in my career as an attorney.”
What a messy, messy situation… And we are not done yet. Kate also claimed Abramovic breached an NDA. According to the healer, he was asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement — which he signed on August 12, the date of their final session. However, Kate “never signed it until after [he] told her, ‘Hey, I’m not getting paid.’” Furthermore, he alleged she canceled the appointment as her assistant claimed over text the Van Helsing star was rushed to the hospital for a medical issue.
On the other side, Singer accused Abramovic of “harassing” the assistant when the last session was canceled and then offered over text to make a house call to Kate, telling her to wear loose-fitting pants or shorts. Abramovic said he was just “trying to speak to the assistant to try and figure out what the hell is going on,” though. He also claimed he only offered to go to Kate’s house because he thought he would get paid and it was “her idea.” He even alleged that “she asked” him about it.
Abramovic went on to say he was then ghosted until August 27, when the NDA became “null and void” since Kate never signed it. But “about two hours later,” he received a signed copy back — but heard nothing about the emails and texts. What does Kate have to say about the matter? Singer replied:
“It’s irrelevant when she signed it. Under the law, you don’t need to sign something on the same day. Abramovic agreed to an NDA and he breached the NDA. This shows that if people think you’re going to have confidential communication with this individual, don’t count on it.”
As for the social media posts from Abramovic? He shared a copy of an alleged email to Kate’s assistant asking for the money on the Bionic Method Instagram account. Check it out HERE. Twenty minutes later, that is when Abramovic received that legal notice we mentioned before from Singer, accusing him of sexual assault and battery — which he feels was done in retaliation to publicly putting her on blast. The notice obtained by Page Six read:
“I am writing on behalf of my client Kate Beckinsale regarding your wrongful and tortious conduct. You have committed a sexual assault and battery against my client. You have no right to seek any payment from my client based on your conduct. Going forward, we demand that you cease and desist all contact with my client and her assistant, and that you direct any future communications to my office.”
Singer denied sending the letter in retaliation for the Instagram posts, saying it “was written to him based on him harassing my client’s assistant.” Weeks later, Kate began hinting about the sexual assault on social media. See (below):
While Abramovic feels Kate is trying to spin a certain narrative to avoid paying a bill, her lawyer states that is not the case. Singer said:
“I believe it is clear that the claim that my client fabricated a police report to avoid paying money is a malicious, false and defamatory statement.”
This is a lot… Wow. Reactions, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF int he comments below.
